What do you think of when your hear Denver, Colorado? I have heard many answers to this question - some flattering and some misunderstood. Denver has transformed into an elite city over the years and has a multitude of activites to offer. Denver has over 300 days of sunshine per year and for the most part the weather is mild throughout the winter (yes, it can get cold and snow, but that usually lasts for less than a week). The summers are warm, but it's a dry heat. The air up here is dry and compared to humid climates, the mosqito/ fly population is minimal. The warmth and sunshine allows for year round golf, cycling, hiking and just about any other outdoor activity. Don't underestimate the power of the sun as it will put you in a good mood. Also, don't worry too much about the altitude as it takes a couple of weeks to acclimate - you'll love how you feel when you visit the lower elevations.
